^^^ I get water spots when water sits on the car to long, like dew in the morning that leave water spots, sprinklers hitting the car then drying kinda thing. I am currently using Mothers carnauba cleaner wax and Mequiars scratch x. They do a really good job on getting the spots out. The FM shows every little mark and I hate marks so the wax takes it out. I will be buying more stuff this weekend cause my windows have spots on them too and I cant get it off with the stuff I have here. Any suggestions on what to use are greatly appreciated.

If anyone wants a great wax that will work a million times better than anything at your local auto shop check out Zaino wax. The stuff is amazing!

I am sorry, but how can you complain about Scions paintjob when you are the one that didnt clean the soda off of your car.. Anyone in the auto industry that knows anything about paint and soda, knows they do not mix.. lol

I do understand that the paintjob on the tC isnt the greatest, but what can you expect for $18,000???

um...the paint doesnt have anythign to do with scion. scion is made by toyota, there for toyota and scion are the same paint company.

if your car is still under warrenty, wich it should be, then make them repaint it. its called paint peeling and scion has to fix it. dont tell them you spilled pop on it..

but you cant complain about the paint because you are the one who did not wash it off.

you might be taking this way too far ...is the paint off ??? or is it just a biuld up of the soda on the car, if its raised above cleacoat level go get a claybar and scrub the ____ out of it ...see if that works

I second using the claybar. Get the Meguiars kit and just spend some time with that. I used it on my old car (which had 13 year old paint) and when I was done the paint looked like glass. Great stuff.
