WHO got chips ? Not me . I have 2-3 coats on mine . I say G2 cannot be chipped short of being shot . The rubber feel gives like a suspension . If it is on thick enough , I swear I do not think that stuff will chip .

Tcpete ...Too funny ! I know man . I had a hard time deciding . I almost went green . My girlfriend has blue on her Blue Pearl . Almost a perfect match ! Close enough anyway .

sorry for being a noob....

when you guys say "coats" means clear coats right?

so you spray on the G2 and put at least 2 layers of clear coats on it?

what brand of clear coats should i get?

You get so much paint in the duplicolor kit as long as the paint dosnt go bad you have alot of touch up paint, I don't mind if I have to do mine again, gives me something to do..

If you use G2 the first time , it will be done right and will not have to go back to fix chips .

It might depend on road conditions also. I've painted 3 cars with one Duplicolor kit and none have any chips.

Oh , I TOTALLY agree . I am just saying that G2 will hold up much better IF you happen to get hit by rocks and such . It is certainly possible to go the life of the car with no chips ever regardless of what you use .
