I decided to paint my key with duplicolor spray paint, it turn out to look extremely hideous! The worst thing is I even sprayed clear coat... Is there something I can buy to remove the paint and clear coat, but would not damage my key? Thanks guy..

Gonna have fading if you use some kind of acetone product which would be used

I suppose you could sand it off then use a really high grit and re-clear and high grit sand again.

I believe the plastic cover components are available for the dealer to order...

If not, they can at least order the key blank without the electronics module so a new key can be cut, and your "old" electronics module installed in it.

 

why paint your key?
