Default Painting front lip

I just purchased a RS1 front lip from customtc.com and I was wondering what would be the best way to paint it. I was either going to search for a site that sells color-matched spray paint and paint it myself, or I was going to get a local auto accessory shop to do it for me... I really dont want to screw it up. Also does anyone know if it comes primered?

heres the link to the lip: http://www.customstore44.com/lip.htm

any advice helps, thanks in advanced!

DO NOT SPRAY PAINT IT YOURSELF...

unless you want it to look terrible.

go to a shop and get it PROFESSIONALLY done. thats why they can chrage alot for it because it will be flawless

usually they dont come primerd.

i got my kit professionally painted, and its really difficult and time consuming to do it yourself.

Do it yourself, got mine yesterday, I'm driving around with it until I get all the supplies I need. Then I'll sand, primer, paint, clear coat, weather strip and reinstall it again.

Out here in California I have been quoted anywhere from $300 - $650 just for the front lip painted. The guy I purchased my lip from offered to paint and install mine for $175. I would have taken him up on his offer but money is tight because of bills and tinting tail lights (I make maybe $5 bucks off those).

You'd be surprised what people can charge. This guy in our club had his hood and lip kit painted for $450 and it looked worse than if he would have rattle canned it himself!
