Default Painting a lip kit

So within a few months I plan on getting a lip kit. Obviously they come unpainted. My question is it usually cheaper to go with a local or reputable body shop or the dealer? Me thinks the dealer charges an astronomical price. Any input?

Ya its cheapest to find a hook up or get sponsored. Then if thats not an option go to a decent local shop. Stay away from dealers they like taking as much as they can from you.

I've always wondered how people get their car "sponsored". Is it a right place right time kinda thing?

Send an email to whoever you would like to sponsor you. Send in a sponsorship request telling them why you want to be sponsored, about your car, your mods, events you attend, future events, usually atleast 10 pics of your car with good shots of every side and some interior. Also put in stuff about you and all your contact info and so on.
