Default Paintscratch Pen vs Bottle/brush...

Hi, a rock recently hit my hood and left a V-shaped scratch about 1/2 inch long. Its been really really bugging me and i don't want to spend money on a brand new hood so i thought id give Paintscratch.com a try since i heard so many good things about them.

Anyways what do u guys suggest, should i order the 1/2 oz Paintpen with the felt tip or should i order the 1 oz paint bottle and buy a super fine brush from an art store?

they both cost the same btw

I always advise people to buy both. The degree of the match varies from color to color, so the pen may be best for a white car but the brush may give better results on a red car (for example).

If you don't mind the extra expense, buy both and test them both on an unseen area of the car. Then you will easily be able to compare the match.

does the cap open so i can put a brush in there or it sealed?

oh and what is the tip of the pen like? is it plastic? fabric? or is it just like those ballpoints u get from the dealer

mothers has a kit that allows you to smooth out touch up paint. its pretty cool but gets tricky.
