I bought some 194 led bulbs for the parking lights. I need some help installing the parking/accent lights. its the small light under the low beam headlights. I can't seem to unplug it so I cant get to the bulb to replace it.

 

You have to twist it, like all the other bulbs. It turns, don't worry. I'm just not sure which direction.....

 

Did you try taking out the other bulbs for the headlights? It's easier if the 9006 bulbs are removed before trying to get to the accent lights. I believe you twist to the left to remove.

 

ya i took out the 9006 bulbs then when i put the led blue accent lights it burn out my 2 number 10 fuses it sucks. luckily my cousin had a spare and gave it to me and i just put the stock ones back in.

 

be ready to get cut.

i think he's just saying since it's usually a tight squeeze for your hands to reach in and grab the bulb.. you might scrape your hand on something in there and get hurt. it does take a little effort to twist those things out.

yep, thats when i got cut taking'em back out.

 

i found the led lights to be far more dim then regular bulbs. I even bought the wide angle ones. Switched out to regular amber colored bulbs - much brighter and fills the entire housing much better than LEDs

 

does anyone kno how i can make my turn signals, inside my head lights, to stay on when i have the headlights on.

 

O.K. I twisted and pulled with all my might. I even took out the 9006 bulbs. What is the secret to taking these out? im getting a little ____ed and frustrated

 

uhm.... no secret... just twist and pull out.

 

Varad LEDS work well. better than superbrightleds and they dont burn out as quickly as the ones from superbrightleds. use needle nose piliars to get to it. it really helps.

 

Use a pair of vice-grip plyers!..thats what I used and they twisted and came out Ok!

 

just pull out the low beam headlight first, then grab the parking light below it and twist it, its pretty hard to twist, took me about 10 minutes but it helps to look through the headlight and see which way to twist it. oh and make sure you plug back in the low beam bulb before you test it out ( i kinda forgot that part and it started to melt the rubber cover on the wire)

 

 

Does this accent light only show when your parking lights are on or when you are driving as well?
