hey who has the pedestal spoiler on their tc, i want to know if it leaks after you wash your car, cause after i dry mine and i drive it, it leaks so i want to know if its just mine or what

I suspect the dealer did the install and it sounds like they did a bad job. You should get them to fix it asap. Hopefully you haven't already developed a rust problem.

are you talking about leaks inside the car? mine doesnt do that


but when i wash my car and then drive the excess water comes from the crevice where the spoiler meets the trunk...but like i said, it doesnt leak inside the car...just down the back of the hatch...

 

ugh im so happy im getting mine off soon. dealer did a craptastic job on the install, and it just doesnt look good at all anymore

 

If water is just dripping out of the crevice, you can solve that by taking an absorber cloth and sliding the edge along the crevice, and usually it dries out all of the water.

 

yea the dealer put it on, it doesnt leak inside but drips out the crevice

Yeah, mine does that all the time. It really ____es me off too! An absorbent cloth helps a lot, but I can't get it to completely stop.

 

yup, mine too. I just stick the absorber in there and press down a little on the spoiler

 

yahh... or if you are really endowed with equipment.. compressed air is awesome for that stuff.

 

yeah compressed air is the way to go to get all the water out of all the lil gaps n such
