Default pedestal spoiler

Ok guys so i found a pedestal spoiler already painted at trdsparks.com ....my question is how hard is this to put on? I got quoted 180$ from the dealership to install.....thats gonna be alot if you add the two together....anyone else think this is alot for installation or is this normal? How hard to put on by yourself?

I did it myself, but you have to buy the stencil <-(cant spell)for the install. When i got it from the dealership, it was like 30 bux. Its basically a plastic piece that you kinda fit over your trunk so you know where to drill the holes. took me probably 30 mins just cause i was extra careful. Id do it myself and save the cash for another mod... =o)

Hey is it hard to get to the inside of the trunk....like where you drill....and also how does it actually attach...is there like threaded holes in it?

you have to take apart some of the underside of the trunk to get to the metal. Its not that hard, but you do need the stencil so you know where to drill the holes. It attaches with 4 bolts that you apply from the inside of the trunk.

I'm really really nervous to drill into my trunk....regardless if i have a stencil or not...lol what if i mess up? ....anyways how much do you think a local body shop would cost to put on if i brought the stencil to them....just guessing...

lol... dont like the yellow idea tctctc?

Not sure what a bodyshop would charge. Go with your gut. If you dont feel comfortable doing it, play it safe. Personally i was pretty nervous when i did it, but went for it anyway.
