Default pedestal spoiler leak

I've had my car for a year and this is the one thing that really annoys me about it. After I wash my car water gets trapped under the supports and when I drive off it comes waterfalling down and it makes the trunk look really bad. Also water coming up under the rear window and waterfall down the window leaving a river like water spot. Same look on the trunk just a lot worse. Is this normal or do i have an issue?? Its just one of my petpeves i guess i know it sounds silly but it just really gets to me.

don't worry you're not the only one. yeah it annoys the heck outta me too. i used to stuff the microfiber rags in between the spoiler and the trunk so it wouldn't drip all over my trunk. but what my problem is, is that my spoiler when it was installed was that it was on too tight. i've been told that severely times. and till now i still have to get that fixed. so that might be your problem too.

everyone has that

only way is to use air blower to get water out of all the cracks to dry it.

yeah i also used the air pressure to blow it out the cracks between the bumper and the rear fender and anywhere else that had water stuck in between. it helps a lot after blowing it all and doing so it helps from getting your car to rust too.

lol thats wut i was thinking just had to ask cuz a leaf blower works pretty well if you do it rite to take the majority of water off. I use the mr. auto dry system and the water sticks pretty well to the body so that doesnt work but a normal car wash a leaf blower is pretty good to start off. I'll have to get a little air compressor and do that.

You might as well just get the cans of compressed air that you clean keyboards out with.

I'd feel queer as hell standing outside blowdrying my car, but whatever.
