I saw these on another forum a few months ago... finally found them again. Could someone chop them onto a SW for me so I can see how they look? (Yes, I am trying to turn my tC into a BMW ).

 

Those are just the TYC tails with some overlays on the top part.

 

Yes, but before I fork out the $$$ for the TYC tails, I'd like to know if they look like cr*p on SW

I was mostly kidding, but you have to admit those tails are very BMWesque.

 

SW with overlays can't go wrong. At all.


If you're going for the overlay on a SW, I'd actually suggest something like...(shameless plug) this:



That style on a SW would be absolute secks.

that car is schweet.

 

I do like that a lot, but two things:

1. Cops might give me a hard time

2. I actually *like* the little red strips.

 

Cops shouldn't give you a hard time, there is nothing covering your brake light and the red reflectors still function as reflectors when they have something to reflect. Turn signals are more visible than the stock tails on a damned Prius :p


All depends on your state though (If you've ever seen a Dodge Ram with those silly Ram taillights, those are considered illegal too, but it's a dealer option if I remember right). Regardless, either style will look great on a SW. It's hard to accent black on a white car and have it look bad. Really really hard.

Very nice tails here so far -- and close to what i'm looking for, but I'd still love to see a SW with the the tails I put in the first pic chopped in. I just like those red bands.

 

Blue Bat has some sweet overlays for the TYC's you may wanna check out. I like the way the red looks too, just not big on the amber color. You may also want to wait a little while for more tail light options, it cant be too long til someone aftermarkets some euro tails or something for the tC, thats what I am kinda waiting for, well that and I dont really have the 250+ for the TYC's...
