Default piaa lighting help

any of you guys out there runnin the piaa hologen light bulbs in there car? i was thinking about geting some for my car because they look like HID but i have also heard that a lot of after market lights are not as bright as even the oem lights and they burn out real quick. if any of you are using these lights could you share your opinion on them and which of the bulbs look closest to HID because they have like five different types. and before any one asks i do not wish to run HID because i am not too kean on melting housings or burning harnes

thanks

To me they were not much brighter, but had more of pure white look to them instead of the yellowish tint that the OE's have. Some of my friends that would pass me on the road said that from a distance they had the bluish tint to them that most HIDs have. If you want more light out put HIDs would be they way to go. If you want to just have the HID look I think the Piaas are one of the better ways to go.
