Okay, we've all seen LEDs placed in some weird places, i thought it would be cool to have a thread to post all the ideas where LEDs could go. So post some of the most original places to places LEDs, even better with pics if it's been done...

What i've seen around this forum is:

A/C holes above CD Player
Front grill
Under Seats
One of the fluid tanks
Glovebox

You guys got any more original places?

 

I've seen LED in the underside of the headrests and in the outside door handles.

 

wouldn't it be hard to hide the wires on door handles though?

 

naw.. route them inside the door..

 

this is totally off the top of my head but, why not LEDs that go off every time an (fuel) injector goes off...but then i was thinking that it might be to fast so you really wouldn't even see'em blink.....

 

Oh...and i'm still waiting for all LED headlights (for our cars) for now i've only seen them on concept cars.

its not there anymore, but directly on my coilovers, lower so more light hit the ground.

Theres a dude on SE that has ALL his interior & exterior LED's Sync up w/ whatever is music is playing..its a Roll'in Disco Show!...I wish I had the time & money to do some LED stuff...looks kinda fun!!

 

u need time yes, money not so much...if u buy a lot of LEDs on ebay, it's pretty cheap.

 

There are underbody kits that do that. Im sure if you maybe splice the rest of the LEDs to that system you shouldnt have much of a problem.

 

eujin... instead of wrapping the strips around the coilover, have you ever thought of zip tying them to the inside edge fo the fender liner and pointed straight downwards to maximize the ligh ton the ground/inside of hte wheels?

 

of course i thought about that, thats pretty much what everyone does. i wanted to be more creative than everyone else, output doesnt matter right now since i'm broke. lol when i get more money i'll buy more strips from Phil.

 

recently put some LEDs on my sideview mirrors.

Plan on put'n some under my wiper arms soon.
