yes 07+ exhaust manifolds sit a lot higher then 05-06's, hence the different covers, you can see from my engine pics just how high it really goes!

 

05-06s also have the hole for the O2 sensor, the 07s up dont

Any problems with the weapon R coolant tank or power steering tank? I heard of one person had problems with theirs leaking.

That looks good I bought a spare valve cover I either going to paint that or polish it. can't decide yet lol.

 

its really not hard to do...but on mine ther wher some imperfections (bumps, scraps, surface cracks, ect) so i went all over the bad spots with 400 grit to smooth it out. so i went 400>600>1000>2000(wet sand)> turtle wax brand polishing compound.

 

Never liked the turtle wax compound, I like the 3m stuff.

it did the job quit nicely though

 

ahhh yes i remember that thread. You got a new one out of it correct? I think its a great mod to make the engine bay shine. I was thinking about getting them.

yup! clean engine bay looks great, I clean mine each time I get a chance which makes it not too frequent.. i wish I could do it everyday lol
