I reded out the reverse light and re-wired it so that it is my turn signal.

The reverse light is where the turn signal used to be. But I have limo tint and the reverse light didnt help anyways. So I pretty much dont have one.

Does anyone know if 08 tails can be installed on a 06 tC? If so, where can I get my hands on some? Price isn't really an issue, although I'd like to buy from a reputable dealer.

 

You can get them from the parts department at your local Toyota dealership. Yes, they will fit. I was tempted to buy a set and I discussed it with a guy from Toyota, but the high price ended up turning me off of the idea.

 

Do you mind PMing the full price of them or maybe a ballpark estimate/price? I'd appreciate it.

 

Well, you're going to be looking at $500 or more, and that doesn't include installation. You could probably install them yourself pretty easily, since Toyota charges a lot for labor.

I'm kinda glad you did the sw with those tails...I was wondering if anyone with a sw has ever thought about getting the entire tail sprayed to be color matched...anyone see that as possible or just another bad dream?

 

For those of you who got their tails tinted, whether it was DIY or professionally by a body shop where did you get it done and how much? I have been calling bodyshops all day long and I can't find anyone in So. Cal that will do this.
