I didnt find any thread like this and decided to make one after Soleaced's thread got VRD rammed. haha i'll start.

Retrofit + VRD fogs w/ luminics JDM yellow bulb and 35% tint.

 

 

Nice cut-off reflection in that bumper! I'd post a picture of my VRD's too but I don't have one handy, haha. Quick question tho, does anyone else have a ton of dirt,bugs, n other crap behind their VRD fogs like me? Dirt gets trapped behind it around the edges.

 

hmm if it does, then shoot i should cover mine up. its only 4 miles old.

So, I'd like to do this, but I want my fogs to match my headlights. The majority of what I see on SL, the lights don't match. Is that by choice, design or is it just a painful fact?

 

u can easily get them to match, same bulb types(OEM, hyper white, yellow, etc) or same HID's (same Kelvins rating) , should be the same brands.

 

How'd you get so smart?

 

My lights match (Sylvania SilverStars on headlights and fogs).

 

 

The best light color for the fogs is yellow. Yellow cuts through fog, unlike white or blue. I like the look of yellow fogs much better anyway. I have yellow bulbs in mine.

 

Where are you getting the yellow bulbs? They look great!

 

Mine came with the fogs.

 

I wonder what it is about the frequency of yellow light that makes it cut through the fog better? We have an physics nuts on this board?

 

did you have to cut your lip some? if so, was it a tough job?

 

for the oem lip kit, yes u have to cut it.Hey express nice car and pic as well!!!
