After going to numerous body shops and getting ridiculous estimates...over $300.00, I settled for a small shop in my town and the guy charge me only $100.00 to paint it considering that he did a heck of job in matching the exact color and working on some of the imperfections on the spoiler...after all Iam very happy with it...looks great. And yes the wing is held in place with double sided tape.

that spoiler looks hot on bsp. too bad i got the lip spoiler from the dealer. does anyone know if the lip spoiler is just stuck on with 3m tape, or is it drilled as well? if it's easy to take off, i'll definitely consider swaping them out.

YEA BOY! The new shipment is FINALLY in. I will be another proud owner of the wing on Monday. Hopefully get it painted by Wednesday and pics up sometime before Friday. I know there's already a pic of a BSP with one but you know I gotta show mine off too.

Man! i just got my spoiler today! After a mock installation i think it looks really nice and i'm very satisfied. Too bad i won't get it painted till next month. I thought the pictures posted on this threat looked nice but it looks better in real life. I didn't get to check the quality as its pretty dark but from what i'm hearing theres lil bumps and scratches but thats normal for fiberglass. I don't know much about shipping but i think you shoulda bubble wrapped it....at least that would give me more assurance. But anyways, GOOD JOB VINIATI!

what do i use to get rid of the wax on the trunk? and can you spray soapy water onto the surface first like you do when installing decals so you can adjust the position? if not wouldn't it stick immediately and you'll be screwed if you didn't get it aligned perfect the first time?

I got the spoiler back from the body shop today, freshly painted and all. one thing i was told by the shop is that the spoiler is poorly made. the top flat part of the spoiler is not completely flat, the paint made these waves and bumps painfully obvious. I was also told that as time goes by, the spoiler might eventually split in two (top piece and bottom piece coming apart) due to stress. it costed me $300 to have the shop fix all the holes and paint, it seem like the going price in my area. it costed me over $500 to get this spoiler and now i'm somewhat dissappointed at the quality. maybe the ABS version will be more superior compared to fiberglass.

the bodyshop owner was also showing me how the top of the spoiler too flexible and easily presses down...watching him press on it disturbed me...
