i cant say enough how dead sexy that is.. i've only owned black cars up until i bought my tc.. and i always had my tailights dark as f*ck just like that.. HOT HOT HOT! really makes me want a black tc, although, when i get my tails smoked on my SSM i think it'll look nice too. but that is badass...

I'm slacking on moving my exhaust around.... I'm waiting for the duals to come to do all that work.... I can't go any more stealthy... as it's just TOO much black...

could you possibly get more pics? like pics of the lights on instead of the vid. the vid was nice but i think the angle you were at it was hard for me to see how much light went through. they look very nice. if i was to tint them i would have to go the next level lighter but thats just me.

Getting it less dark is REALLY easy... there is light, medium-light, medium, medium-dark, and dark selections on the order form... you can also have him do custom however you'd like as well for a lil more...

here's another shot.... check the gloss on these babies... nothing compares... overlays can't match that gloss baby!

May as well have them painted the color of your car. You'll get a ticket or rear-ended pretty quick.

They look alright if your car is just sitting there, but that's dangerous to put on the road.

That's what the third brake light is nice for... they're easy to see... just ran them up to Canada and back for the Sport Compact Nights show and everyone LOVED them.... and could see them very well.

I wouldn't worry about a fix it ticket as much as if somebody rearends you and the cops check them and say that they are too dark and you get blamed, but hey just don't get rear ended right

Just thought I'd chime my $.02 about the cops part of the issue.

Most states...don't know about Oregon...only require 2 red reflectors on the rear of the car. All stock tail lights, except Lexus, have those built in already. Lexus, with their "clear" tail lamps put the red reflectors in the bumper. Not sure if you all remember when having clear taillights was an issue, but that's how alot of people got away with it...they added 2 red reflectors on the back of the car. Most states don't require a certain size, just that there are 2 reflectors.

If you can see the brake and parking lights okay through the tinted tails...I'd just add reflectors somewhere on the back...or maybe put reflectors on magnets (so you can take them off) and you should meet the legal requirement.

Cool thing happened at the show this weekend as well...

the judge touched the lights, and said... "No Overlays... NICE"

Made me happy.

i've had uber-dark tails on ALL my cars (i'm on car 4 now).. and never had ONE cop even so much as MENTION the darkness of my tailights to me. weird, huh? and VA cops can be uptight too.. guess they just don't really care here as long as you can still see the brakes/signals light up underneath the tint.
