Default pricerange for paint on RS1 lip kit

so I got a quote from 2 paintshops and what I needed was to fix a curb rash on the front lip and paint and install the sides and rear. I was surprised with how much they charged for paint and install. one of the shops charged 600 installed and another who's shop looks a lot more reliable charged 700 installed. how much did you guys with the RS1 get charged? and what would be a good price range?

the price would sound about right but i went a different route.

don't think this will help but it cost me a little less than 200 bucks just to buy the painting materials and i painted it myself, but i dont think you're looking to paint if yourself unless you happen to have an air compressor and a spray gun. there's a lot of work but i saved a lot of money doing it myself. i have pics of it on my profile. come take a look at it!

Harbor and freight sprayer 20 bucks....
Sand paper from autozone 10 bucks...
Paint...Not sure but cant be more than 100...
Most likely you have a air compressor or someone does..
Find somewhere without much wind or humidity and you sir have a very cheap way to paint your lip kit!!! :D

I painted mine for 4 dollars...SPRAY CAN FTW...
but...I have an incredibly steady hand and have to have everything perfect.

But surely you aren't as insane as me...and most likely want color matched so yea...you gotta buy the factory paint...

I will be doing the above for the sides and rear in the next couple weeks though..I am not sure if I am going to a buy a sprayer cause weirdly enough...the spray can worked perfectly..

haha joe. That blue xB looks really nice. I like how they did the famous star and bB emblem on the cover. I'd like to check out that place but it is just too far.

I'm going to paint mine by spray can. I have enough patience to tint taillights so doing this shouldn't be too different...maybe a little more work.
