Default Professional repainting small section of door

I got 3 deep scratches on the passenger side door from someone opening their door too wide. Is it possible to repaint that one 1*1 inch paint damage without repainting and reclearing the entire door? The color of the car is silver. I heard using a blending technique would make this possible. I used the correct touch-up paint for it and the color doesn't look right. How much would I be looking at for a professional fix?

Do the whole thing and you wont regret it later down the road, because if you just blend that section, sure it will look good, but after a bout a year it'll look like crap. Do it the right way the first time, and be done with it.

So how much to blend versus full repaint?

My best GUESSTIMATE would be 200 to blend, 450 to repaint

You can get it done for cheaper than that. I recently got my hood repainted at a dealership bodyshop for around 200.

Just get it repainted if it really bothers you.

Have you tried a scratch remover yet?

blend the color and reclear the whole panel. If you paint the whole door, it will never match the quarter panel and the fender.
