Projector /Halo lights Poll
i would like to have some on my car but the only way to do it right and even make them look good is to do custom. pretty much all the aftermarket halo/projectors for our cars are a no go for me. only aftermarket one i think is alright is the anzos cause of the way they look but they have such horrible cutoff and cheesy looking LED eyebrows that i would disconnect and cover up.
really are they that cheesy i think there alright but i would like some that are nice and clean and dont look like there made in a sweat shop. with plastic and crapy parts.
Hey sorry for this really n00b question but for the custom halo lights..do you customize them or are they like made custom in some way here is the site im looking at if you guys could help that would be grate http://www.carid.com/2006-scion-tc-headlights/

dont buy any after market headlights they will fog insanely and those cheap led lights are horrible. Yeah retro fitting is tedious but the finish product is amazing. plus you will be great quality projectors plus good lens.
I would not recommend purchasing any after-market headlights from ebay or any other site. These headlights are obviously not OEM, and not made to factory standards, therefore they really do not use high quality materials to manufacture the units. Many times the LED's die out, the halo rings crack or begin to burn out and the so called projectors are some of the lowest quality projectors out there.
If you really want the "halo" rings around your headlights, i would recommend using CCFL's. This will require you to bake your headlights to crack them open.
Retrofitting is whole another story, which is what I am currently doing to my headlights. Who ever said that retrofitting is not a lot of work is very wrong. It is a labor and time intensive project which requires a lot of skill and pre-planning. Check out my post on my Quad-bixenon FX-R retrofit.

all you really have to do is get projectors, a new lens, bake it open, take out stock projector, figure out how to fit it, then put it together it really isnt that hard...
" is where you are going to spend a lot of your time. For one, the ease of installation is based on the type of projectors you use, the type of shroud you use and how custom you want your retrofit. 99% of the time you are going to have to do a lot of cutting of the shroud to make it fit in the housing. Am i saying this is a difficult and impossible task. No i am not, but it is not a throw together project in a few hours like you are making it seem to be..
