Projector lens swap

Projector lens swap
ok here is a random question. Im doing a HID retro and i have some Anzo projectors if possible instead of swapping out the entire projector unit if the lens are the same size can you just swap the halogen lens for the HID lens.

probally wont be a good idea and might not match up right. It will still be a halogen projector since the bowl is from a halogen projector. Do it right and swap it out for some TSX projectors or something? I saw TSX since their probally the easiest to work with?
