lol I don't have them anymore.
Here you have a picture of the tsx at startup from 3ft away. The ghost spots are less visible there but you can pretty much tell they're wide. The further out you go, the more light spreaded on the ground you will get.

nothing. I sourced out the parts myself from some buddies and i just paid for new headlights. since i was doing a retrofit on a bike for a friend of mine, Bjorn(owner of customlightz.com) did mine for free. I'm good friends with him.
You should check out his website for pictures, comparison pictures between the different projectors and setups they've done.
Again, I can source out parts for you for cheap.
tsx lets say 90, 85122+ philips bulbs for 20 a pair and ballasts for 140.
that'd be your total cost on parts only: $250. You can do the retrofit yourself or if you're not that patience or do not have the tools, you can get someone else to do it.

Excellent, I'd have to round up some cash first. I've been meaning to start a retrofit project so I end up checking out every retrofit topic I see. thanks for the links and info!

Yeah if you have any troubles or problems along the way, I can help you. Yank01 can help you as well since he did a retro on his cars as well as many other members.

agreed, there should be a "Z" where there is 1 cutoff, brandon, it looks like you were pretty close to the wall, try again from like 25 ft...
I am REAL close (5ft) to the wall just for show so the hot-spots are exaggerated... but cutoffs are fine. U got yours in yet?

It doesn't matter if you move the 08 projectors back, the hotspot will always be there.

Here is a close up and far away shot of a HID projector:

i sold my last retro a couple months ago to Noodle. He's the one who did the retro for me (and did awsome work BTW). I should have another one done within a month or so with the 08 headlights. Im swaping out the ugly halogen projector with the Infiniti FX35 projector and 300zx lense to top it off  . Here's some pics of my old TSX with 3 washers and bulb spacing....

about 20-25ft.

the color was soo beautiful!

Both installed and on

you can seriously notice the HUGE difference between the stock 08 headlights and what a set of OEM projectors can be. I think i was actually blessed with those TSX projectors cause i never saw nor did alot of people on HIDPlanet.com see a cutoff abd color like i had produced. I did loose some intensity with the mods i did to get it but it sure did look nice. Many people will choose performance > style. You can notice there were no "hot spots" and i had the width that the 08 projectos didnt have. Many people think just because they come with projectors now its ok to put HIDs which is not the fact. Its an obvious difference but you cant get through some hard heads out there. I let my pictures do the talking and also i know i will driver better at night than they will

bc the 08 lights come with HALOGEN PROJECTORS, not HID PROJECTORS

i have hids in mine now but i like the way it looks on like the tsx

get a 08 projector headlights and add 3 CCFL angel eyes on each headlights or 2 CCFL, either way. Just my idea that I would do when I get the projector.

I put tsx into my friends.
Had to make brackets but that's easy if you have a dremel.

The one thing I don't like about 08 retro is that they look too stock. We all wants to look stock, but at the same token, we want to look unique. The 08 retro will physically look like the 08 stock. Despite the fact that 08 retro will yield better outputs, it is not going to get people to turn their heads. Just my though about it. The advantage for doing 08 retro is that you don't have to pay for shrouds.

that's the whole point of a retrofit. Making it look stock yet using hid components from other cars lol
The "cool look" is in your head man lol
Results speak for themselves.
