Proof: Spoilers on Windsheild Wipers DO work!
We don't have an off-topic tC lounge, so I posted here.
I was visiting a friend at an apartment complex about 15 minutes from home. When I got back to my car, I noticed one of those little leaf-hopper bugs on one of my wipers.

I got home, and got off to wipe some sap off my windsheild, and the bugger was still there. I was doing at least 60mph most of the way home (gotta love Irvine speed limits).

Hard to tell from the cameraphone pic, but he's hunkered right behind the 'spoiler' on my wiper.
This was a stupid post, but I hope someone else finds it amusing.

Indeed. Unless that leaf-hopper functioned as a spoiler itself, in which case I may have missed out on some major scientific discovery, or something.

weird looking bugs, man.
