You could wire up a relay that is triggered off of either your dome light supervision wire or door trigger wire. The only concern with using dome light supervision is that you will hear a buzzing sound out of the relay that goes along with the dome light fading out. A while back I wired up a relay to do this for interior footwell lights but I did not take any pictures.. and encased the circuit board in hot glue... otherwise i'd share it lol.

Dome light supervision only works if you have your dome light turned on and will work for whatever triggers your dome light to turn on(keyless entry/alarm etc). I didn't feel like diode isolating my 5 door triggers in my xB to make it work so I used dome supervision.

If I remember correctly contacts 86 and 30 were fused and attached to constant, 85 was diode isolated and attached to the dome light supervision wire. and 87 supplied 12v+ output for lighting.

It's been a while since I've done an alarm in a tC so I can't remember if the tC has individual door triggers but if you wanted to use door triggers you won't get the buzzing effect in the relay(Which is basically the metal contact flapping back and forth between 87 and 87a until the voltage drops below a certain value(lasts about a second on the PCB mount relay i used)

Hope this helps

I did a DIY write up on this a few years back, do a search and theres a picture that tells you exactly how to connect it.
