Question about Brake Caliper painting
So I'm hoping to paint my calipers next weekend but I was wondering what do I do if I don't like the outcome. Is there any way to get the paint off? Thanks in advance
Theres always paint/laquer thinnner and paint stripper. You can also sand them down to bare metal and try again from scratch. By sanding you can also get a much smoother surface that will look better in the end.

If you paint your calipers... use the brush on kind from G2 or Duplicolor.... unfortunately, It probably won't come off easy, or if at all... as it's really tough stuff... but it looks way better than any spray and will stand up to brake dust and the elements much better...
And, it's a heck of a lot easier to brush that stuff on, than mask off EVERYTHING or remove the whole caliper...

I used a German based company called Folia Tec for my brakes. Their red looks awesome when it dries. It's a brush-on paint and you have to wait 24hrs before driving again so the hardener can fully set in. Kit comes with a can of brake cleaner, paint, and hardener.

This is the farthest the page seems to go and I dont see anywhere to order things from them except their catalogue. I got my paint from a local auto parts store. Incase anyone is wondering it came to $22.00. If you cant get it in a store here's a link to a website that does sell it but their pretty pricey:
