question about ebay
I've been recently looking for new headlights and taillights on ebay and comparing it to other websites. Should I be concerned of what look to be identical units are much cheaper on ebay than any where else? I want to get nice fixtures, but if I can spend a lot less on ebay for the same thing I would much rather do that. Thanks.
i would go through actual vendors rather than ebay. this way you can be assured you're getting quality aftermarket parts, rather than cheap imitations on eBay, which to say, what makes up eBay as far as heads/tails go. With eBay, they may look the same, but guaranteed you'll have problems such as halos or LEDs burning out, fogging, etc.
In the long run, go through a reputable vendor. And remember, you pay for what you get.

Most of the time that is true. You may luck out and get a genuine guy selling a used part that is the same that you would order from a vendor. My advice would be to stay away from the guys on there that are running an ebay business. I bought my badgeless VRD grills on ebay for a fraction of the price that VRD has them listed on their site. The reason for this is b/c there is a small chip on the upper and lower grills on the backside that you can't even notice from the front. Am I happy with the result? Definitely! But then again, they're only grills. As far as headlights go, there's a lot more things that can be defective so use your best judgement about WHO you buy from as well as what you buy.
