My car came with the key that has the keyless buttons right on it. My question is... if I buy a regular Scion Keyless entry Fob instead of another key with the buttons built in will it work? I have a spare key and would like to have a fob for it. Please help before I just buy one.

 

It should. My car came with two keyless entry keys and a spare "valet" key without the keyless entry buttons on it.

 

you shouldn't buy a fob for it i think its just a waste of money. and the key without the buttons is the valet key.

 

my husband has the main key and I have the "valet" key. I would like to have a fob for my key, that is why i am asking

the keyless fobs available for the xB and xA are not compatible with the tC

 

I have been on several website and they have a XB XA TC fob, I am soooo confused
