hey guys, im looking to get projectors..im possibly thinking of doing a retrofit with tsx projectors..but thats alot of time ..so im looking at other possibilites, maybe anzo or jlevi? for any of you that have these how do u like them? are they really HID projectors?

any comments will be appreciated..thanks guys

 

no, projector lenses do not equal HID ready. true, they are better than the stock 05-07 tc headlights, but they still were not designed for HID bulbs and will get some ghost spots and will be illegal in some states.

 

If you want a setup, I can get you tsx for 120 and bulbs, ballasts and relay harness for 140.
I got a hold of someone who has them in stock :D
But yeah, if you can do a retrofit, then by all means do it.
If you can't, then read up on them. I've seen many tc's here in NYC with kits. And the glare is unbearable. I see you live in jamaica. I live by parsons and 85th avenue. U will see a blue 06 Civic sedan with projectors, that's me!

get some 08 tc headlights they are projectors and u can slap some hids they look great i got them on my o8

 

not worth due to you'll spend more money and pretty much get poor results (no width)

 

Throw a set up on ebay and i will get a set off of you.

 

No width? U must be on crack. My 08's light up every lane on a 4 lane xpressway. Not to mention u have a warranty.

And the question about warranty, what are you implying? you mean u get warranty on the headlights if it's broken? Guess you have yet go for a claim on cosmetic appearance


No reason to ebay. If you're close by me, I will do some civic retrofits and you can come as well. i'll be doing it for free anyway and also for others to learn first-hand on how to do it properly.

 

I think he means no width compared to a retro. My BMW has much more width and useable light than my tC. I also have the 08 projectors with HIDs, and while they are better than other pre-made options, they are not as good as a retro would do using actual HID projectors.

 

just swap out the projectors in the to get the hid quality everyone craves. once these lense show up ill post some pics and i may even do a how to on 08 projectos as well. its so easy to do.
