Question For Anyone Who Has Purchased Lambo Doors
Hows it going out there?Ive been looking into buying a door conversion kit for my car and I found one that Im really interested in.Im just wondering if anyone has or know anyone who has purchased this kit and what they thought about the quality and overall experience. The kit is called the Diablo Door Conversion Kit.It comes from Chaser Aerodynamics.Heres a link to the kit. http://www.aerokits.net/DiabloHinge/gtf.htm

I'm not sure if anyone has.... since they are weld in, and much, much harder to install the the "Bolt-In" kits... It appears to me that they lift a bit more than the ones others like I have... but the work that would surely be neccesary to get them to work correctly and complete a clean install seem prohibitive to just purchasine the bolt on kits for the tC application.
~800 bucks gets you a little less angle, but bolt on ease with jtautostyle doors...
Maybe theres a GTF guy hidden out here somewhere, but I haven't seen him yet.

Thanks for the input,Truely appreciated.I wouldnt mind spending more money to have it welded on if its better quality.Off the top of your head, how much more would it be to have the GT Factory kit installed over a bolt-on kit?I also like the fact that the doors open just like normal, then open up.Also, they seem like they would be easier to get in and out of than the kits that just seem too close to the car. Also,do I have to worry about the doors being too much weight for the front fender to hold? How is it on your car? Thanks in advance.
wow. i like this kit. i like how u can still open the door regular and dont have to lift it up every time.
but i have a question also, since its weld, once u put it on, does it have to stay on FOREVER, or can u take it off and make them regular again?

yea, i'll be a daily drive, but i wont be liftin them up everytime i open them. thats y i like these cause they open out like a regular door and u dont have to lift to get out.
i see wat ur sayin though.

I don't have to lift mine to get out... they open about halfway, and give my skinny body enough room to get out... (I rarely lift mine outside of shows) I'd be interested to see how they open all the way... they look really great...
The difference between installing a bolt on and having it custom mounted could be 500+, as the bolt on is relatively easy...
