Ok so, I ran through a puddle, and damn near tore my sideskirt off, I also realized that there is a GAP between my headlight and bumper, which as I try to adjust, it manages to sag once again and it looks HIDEOUS.

so I must ask the question:

HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE ZIPTIE'S HOLDING YOUR BUMPER?

i have zip ties holding on my grille

 

im sure many people ziptie their bumers, i know my friend with his s13 does

 

i have zipties holding my bumper on, but not for long, im gonna copy blktc's idea and get these.

also keep in mind, i ONLY have zipties (1 on each side) holding my bumper on

 

I have the same problem as you do Checo.
I haven't fixed it though.

well i inspected it today and I THINK i have a broken tab on the inside of the bumper, which is why it won't click back into where it is supposed to :/ ill take off the wheel to see if I can ziptie it on my day off from work

 

i'm about to start running zipties because mine sags on the passenger side; i think yellowhoodie is as well

 

i used to have 2 bolts and a handfull of zipties holding my front bumper on in my old xB.

 

Splurgey, are you talking about the full plastic piece the bumper clips into? You may have cracked it. I cracked mine when I had my Kaminari kit on many moons ago & bought new ones from the dealership (which cost too much!). Let me know which one it is & I'll check which one I can find in my garage (could've sworn I saw one a few days ago) & I'll ship it to ya for dirt cheap. Text me/facebook me cuz I'm rarely on SL.

 

Zipties FTMFW! They held up my exhaust in maryland on my ford ranger for a whole winter because it was too cold to pull any real tools out All of my lower plastic pieces have zipties somewhere on them. That alignment of plastic ish gets old fast.
