Question Question for those that installed their vrd fogs without modifying the oem lip kit...

I know a few of you answered my question about this before but it gets more complicated. After taking my car to the bodyshop, they did not want to cut the lip to fix the vrd's in. They said they might damage it and did not want to be responsible if something goes wrong. Sooo I have been told that I do not need to cut the lip. For those that have this setup without cutting the lip, did you just jam them in there? Did they clip properly? I know I will have a slight gap, i'm fine with that. Just wondering the procedure to push them in their with force without breaking anything.

Just give em' hell and force them in.

Sometimes you just have to use a little muscle to make things fit right.
