Default Questions about the headlights

First off i would like to know if i need to bake the headlights to install these
http://www.customstore44.com/led.htm
Then i would like to know if these only come on with the parking lights...or if they will also come on with the running lights. I'd like to get the red ones, but it's illegal to have these on as running lights. Thanx for the help

Headlights aren't running lights. The term "running lights" comes from "daytime running lights" (DRLs), which are lights intended solely to make the vehicle more visible during the daytime, not to output light for the driver's benefit. Running lights (which the tC does not have) will automatically turn on when the vehicle is running.

What we have on the tC is a parking lights setting, which is where the side markers, the headlight accent lights, and the rear lights all light up. So if you haven't already figured out the answer, the headlight accent bulbs will be illuminated if you have the parking lights turned on, but will not be visible if you turn on the headlights because the light from the headlight bulbs will drown out the accent light.

They could also be called "city lights." Many cars in Japan come with this feature, which is probably where they got the idea. They are used when in major cities when headlights are not needed because it is so bright, but so you can still be seen. When I had my Civic, I swapped in the CTR headlights, and they had the exact same light...same bulb also.

yea i think it is illegal to drive in the US with the parking lights on. intended just for parking on the side of the street if having car trouble. however, if you have ccfl angel eyes, those can be wired so that they act as DRL's
