Default Quick Retrofit Question

I have a pair of the new Camry headlights with the projectors. I searched a bit on here and didn't find anyone who attempted a retrofit with those and from looking at some of the posts it seems as if they used the same projectors in the Camry as they did with the new Scions. Just wanted to know if it would be worth it to do a retrofit and whether or not I'd see a distinctive cut off. Also, will they fit? I have a 05 tC. Thanks guys.

so your going to do a retro with "halogen" projectors? why not just go with the real deal holyfield? HID projectors, easy and cheap would be TSX or BMW e46. your wasting your time and money with those and yes the camry and scion projectors are the same.

But Camry projectors = free is why i'm thinking of doing it. Yeah I know that TSX projectors are the best bang for the buck, but I was wondered if the quality of these projectors produce decent cutoffs warranting a retrofit. Basically, better than stock?

i think you should sell the headlights as a whole and use the money to buy s2000 projectors. think about it, all you really need is the camry projectors, but you have the whole headlight..... might as well try sell it to get s2000 projectors so you dont have to bake open the headlight and you might even have enough money to buy shrouds too...

Yeah I was thinking of going that route , but they are selling for about 30 - 50 bucks on ebay and s2k projectors and shrouds get real pricey. Any links of tsx projectors on sale for a good deal? I did a search looking for a PPC, but didn't find any projectors. Thanks a lot guys, any input is handy.

whats selling for only 30-50 the headlights? they should be around 100-200 for a set of oem camry projector headlights. the aftermarket projectors are around 150-170 so you should definately get at least 100 and you have to search around for the good deals on tsx projectors. theres some on ebay for 150.

Oh yeah? Didn't know man. There weren't that many Camry OEM headlights on ebay for me to do an accurate comparison. I'll post em up and see what I can get. With the Camry headlights they haven't even been on a car before, right out of the manufacturer's box.
