Default rear hatch emblem

i searched for this but i didnt find anything.why hasnt a company came up with something to replace the peice where the scion badge is? i think i have seen a cf one but i think that can only be used with the cf hatch. a company should make one to go with the oem hatch so it can be shaved.

I'm pretty sure the CF one can be used with a stock hatch as well... just need to paint it to match your ride if you're going that way....

The best and easiest way is just to have it shaved by a shop and repainted... it can and has been done.

i have thought alot about this. a buddy of mine with a flint mica tc actually painted his black and i got the SW tc and i think im gonna paint mine white until they come up with a factory like set up that isnt carbon fiber. if i chose to get a cf piece, i certainly am not going to paint it, but thats simply because thats the set up i am chosing. painted would look great too. in the mean time, i am spending nothing and a small amount of time on the labor. but thats just me.

i think I'm going to try and shave the rear emblem myself - does anyone have any pictures of what that hatch piece looks like without the emblem on it? is it just a couple of holes that'll need to be bondoed, sanded, primered, and painted?

a DIY would be awesome, but I'm guessing none exists.

It's a pretty decent indentation in the shape of the logo, plus at least 2 holes... it's not really easy to get a good fill on it, but totally possible for a decent shop to kick out...

A DIY for bondo/sanding/painting/blending, and ESPECIALLY Paint Matching, as the mixes for my BSP were all off a bit, and had to be tweaked to blend perfect, would be really non-useful, as I've really grown to respect the body-work guys and realise that good results are REALLY, REALLY tough to get, even with the right tools...

The stuff I have worked on dilegenty and done never compares to the stuff I have done by someone who's got the experience.... if you want to kill the rear logo, really invest in someone who knows body work in and out, cause it's harder than it looks.

shoot, maybe I'll just paint the emblem to match the body then . .. hahaha. not quite as clean but a whole lot easier and cheaper.
