Ok,heres the deal, i have a 06 tc and i cant get my rear hatch to open, i press the unlock button 2 times everything open but the hatch wont budge,happen today its 70 degress outside so i know its not frozen shut,then only thing i can think of is the release button on the hatch isnt operating correctly,is there another way to open it manually or something...i know in the winter time,sometimes it was frozen shut and wouldn't open until the car was warmed up...........any suggestions,i aint going to the dealer..so let me know

 

Can you hear the mechanism moving when you press the button? There should be a noise of the actuator or whatever it is...

 

na didnt hear any noise,i usually do when i unlock the hatch

 

dummy me forgot like always to push in the black thing underneathe the hatch to open it,so its all fixed,well nothing was wrong with it,it was me....
