just wondering if anyone knew if u could put the hood lift on either side of the car. i have it on the driver side but i need to have it moved to the other side. would that make a difference?

I have one on each side, the one on the passenger side rubs a little bit on a resevouir

 

i'm trying to install the weapon r cold air box and the hood lift on the driver's side is making it so i can't install the cold air box. i need to move it to the passenger side or figure out how to make the thing fit.



someone told me to use spacers. would that work? if i try to close the hood now, the right side is leaving a half inch gap. not only that, but it's rubbing against the cold air box. i gotta figure this crap out.
