Removing Headlight Overlays? *PICS*
I ordered smoked tC overlays from HeadlightArmor.com
Here are some pics of the outcome.

at night WITHOUT the main lamps on just the corner lights.

here it was mid-install with 1 side done and the other stock to show the difference.
The install went ok and I only have minor imperfections if you look closely during the day. (mostly not covering the very edges perfect) I just have silverstars in it and they used to look decent but of course after smoking them they look a lot yellower and it defeated the purpose. I have recently been craving for some HIDs and im assuming it'll turn out crappy if I keep the overlays on. But can I remove them without them being covered in crap. Im thinking of just smoking the corners and keeping the front clear. Anybody have pics of someone with HID's and smoked headlights. Or pics of people with just smoked corners and clear front.

Heres a pic of everything done except for the smoked headlights. In my opinion for the stealth bomber black look I am going for the completely stock headlights were just way too bright and chrome and threw off the whole car.
I have the Blue Batmobile tail light overlays, and they just peel right off with no residue left behind. Instead of removing the whole overlay, have you thought about cutting out a semi-circle for the headlight to shine thru? Kind of like this
i was also thinking the same thing but not sure if i like the results. during the night it would be 2x better. but during the day I dont want it to look odd like a big white circle in the middle of my taillights
I had RockBlocker overlays on mine. I think the HeadlightArmor stuff is probably the same so no residue should be left behind. If there is (for whatever reason) just hit it with some elbow grease and a rag.
