Default Retrofit Question

I am going to retrofit my headlights and need some info. these are the shrouds I am going with:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=300215549725

and these are the projectors i am going with:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ACURA...spagenameZWDVW

next question is which ccfl angel eyes should I go with? anyone know. I would like to have one for low and one for high.

thanks
shane

wow someone finally made replicas of the e46 shrouds.

Im guessing your retro fitting a 05-07 headlight? If so u can use any halos made the those years. The only issue I see if the low beam. You will have to mount your shroud behind the housing.

once u have all the parts and are actually messing around with teh fitment. You'll see theres only one way to do it with halos.

WOw...i was reading about RS.com doing a replica but never seen themm...looks good to bad i paid 75 for mine but i ended up not using them.
Anyways you can use ozniums or make your own but retrofitting is exactly what it means...find your own way to fit it untill your happy. just make sure its secure

yea, i wouldnt pay that much for TSX projectors, even if its the clear lense version. I recently bought a set of clear lense TSX projectors because i needed the clear lense for a swap im doing with my FX35 projectors and got it for $125+shipping. check out hidplanet.com/forums in the classifieds for a cheaper price.

i saw those replicas but question the quality on the chrome? Not sure on how long it will last or how delicate they are? Not a bad price though and they look OEM.

make sure you get clear lense which is 04-05 years i believe? the newer TSX's are frosted and not that great. here's a better price...

i dont think he'll give it out. from the looks of it, they look like the same ones floating on ebay. I actually bought a set a while back for my first retro and got them off of ebay. look identical to lightwerkz's

well just a thought...e46 shrouds fit the tC...so why dont the e46 ccfls fit along with them? And yanki on your fx35 projectors is there a way you can tell if they were before or after the recall...im looking to do a quad setup soon

the stock BMW ccfl's arent that bright compared to the ones on ebay. i have no clue what year my projectors are from? the lense are frosted if that helps any? im sure the recall has something to do with the housing and not the projector.

the CCFLs that ceasar used were his lightwerkz CCFLs that he sells on his website. He's pretty good about responding to emails if not i think he has a contact number on his website. i can assure you that if he does your retro you'll be 100% satafied. his work speaks for itself (check out high-intensity.org for more of his work) and he's really good with customer service.
