Thanks, we try, but we also like a quite ride with an incredible audio system. We were planning on racing with it installed until we found out STI and EVO buggers are in our class, lol! At least the amps and sub will be modular enough to remove and the rest really not all that much weight and mounted low.

We just have to find some time to cut out the rear floor and build a battery box into it and finally install our LSD, clutch, flywheel, motor mounts and front sway bar.

I'm not sure if you know how much work installing one is, or maybe you do know;)

Times like this I sure wish I had a lift and will someday, almost did at my last place but decided to relocate and the money went on moving instead

If you want to pull your transaxle and bring it over while I am installing my LSD I will show you how to do it though

I'd never do it unless you were next to me doing it too..... looks REALLY scary....

I really need a friend with a lift.

It is a bit tricky but as long as you lay parts out in the sequence you removed them and in the right position when laying them out it makes the job of putting it all back together much easier.

The real fun is knowing you have to install it to make sure you did it right, if not, pull it back out again

Actually if you can dry shift it on the bench it should work when installed just fine

On jobs like this I take plenty of time, no rushing at all, get to tired, take a break, etc, just to important to mess it up.

The first time I did a FWD LSD I did not have all the proper tools so had to make some while doing the job and half **** some of the work, it still ended up being just fine but the next time, I had all the proper tools on hand!

Rick...

you MUST do a how-to on this one.... MANY of us would love to know how to at least do the PG setup... although I'd still love quaife's.... (Pricey and still not available)

I'd only try this with a pro around... or maybe with a step by step....

Lol, it would be much longer than a long day Maybe I will have to start charging admission, lol!

As for a how-to, not likely going to do one, the manaul is quite good for tearing down the box and putting it back together with accurate drawings, etc. Once apart the LSD is simple to install and comes with instructions.

Anybody with some decent tools, manuals and patience can do this if they really want to

Honestly you do not need pics, really, with the cross and harness bar removed the roll bar is so far out of the way it is just not an issue.

Of course it should be covered with some appropriate padding where anybody could come into contact with it.

That reminds me, I have some brand new roll bar foam I am not going to use;)
