Default RS 3.0 foglight help

I just got a RS 3.0, and I want to install foglights on the side air vents. I checked on APT/VRD but I don't think it's gonna fit the RS 3.0 kit. There doesn't seem to even have enough depth (about 2"?) to place any fog as the kit is basicall placed on top of the stock bumper.

Does anyone have any idea what else can I do except for getting the OEM round fogs and install them on the grill?

Thanks for all your help

the hole on teh RS3's actually are functional (open)
what you can do is take off the lip, tuck the VRDs in, take off teh grille on the lip, and put the lip back on

Then I am actually putting the VRDs on the stock air vent instead of the lip hole...? so when I put the lip back on, there would be a gap between the fog and the lip front...?

I am also searching for slim fogs too... no luck so far.... coz the depth is around 2" or less, and the height is less than 3"....

I've actually seen them in the correct spot behind an RS3 lip. You can't tell that well when they aren't on, but the light output isn't bad. And yes, there will be space between the lip opening and the light itself. Give it a shot. IMO, the only foglights that should ever be put on a tC are stock or VRD's.

i've personally tried to put the VRDs in. it's a no go. if you want them to be seen, you'd have to cut the lip. And I wouldn't cut that $1555 lip if I were you. lol. I also hate the OEM ones, so I went with Fet Catz and mounted them on the frame behind the lower grille. I like them there because in the day light you can't really see them and at night they're there to help you light up the road.

And to whoever said they look like neons haha

Old pics, but you get the drift.

I don't think I would cut the lip too. Not because I am deadly in love with it, just because that lip is unqiue and tC lovers would be able to tell at first sight it's an RS 3.0 (just like I would keep my shift **** even if I am going for a short throw).

My mechanic suggest that I can put 2 rows of LED on each vent rather that using regular fogs. That's mainly for decor then and probably I would need to get HID headlight to do the light-up-the-road job.

How does that sound? I probably would have to go for this idea (no choice unless if someone can recommand me some slim fogs)....

toeveryhr, I like your mod too, where did you get your headlight? doesn't seem to be stock?

Headlight housings are painted Blizzard Pearl. I have 6K HIDs. HIDs on their own could do the job for you.
