rs1 lip kit question

Default rs1 lip kit question

I bought an rs1 full lip kit and right now its in the body shop getting painted.

I noticed the front lip alone came with a bag of hardware, how do i do this?

help!!

EDIT: front lip alone contained 4 L brackets and bunch of nuts, bolts, washers

Honestly, I think that you should have fitted the items on your car before sending it off to paint. Reason I say this is because I would rather have to trim excess pieces of a unpainted lip kit off to make it fit properly, than to have damaged the newly painted version.

got it fitted, but im still clueless on how i mount the front and side skirts.. help!!

do i need to take my oem sideskirts off?

you keep the oem sideskirts on and put the rs1 over it and dril the screws on the sides. as for the front you either put double-sided tape or screw it for the top center. for the sides of the front lip just put 2 screws on each sides as well.

i saw the side skirts but never tried it on.. its shaped like a cup, i don't see how it will go over the oem.. do i need to wash my car before i install it?

did u get it back from paint? yea man the sides go over the stock sides, thats why they are shaped like a cup. like i siad i can help with the install if needed, its straight forward.
