Default Scion Touch Up Paint Thread

Not sure if one of these has every been started. Thought it would be cool to discuss and recommend different types, brands, mixes, etc. of paint. Both aerosol cans as well as brush bottles. This will give people a good idea of what matches and what other members have gotten to work.

I will start. I had Sherwin Williams mix me up some paint to the 2006 1E0 spec. It's a perfect match and is in a spray aerosol can. I will get the mix posted as well as some pics of my eyelids when I slap them on. Hopefully this can help some people! If not it was worth a try!

you can also expand this to include technique.

finding the paint is easy enough, at prices that are cheaper than paintscratch.com, but
for touch-ups do you bother with sanding, primer, clearcoat ?

Thats a good idea.

Is the dealerships paint just by the paint code? Considering there are probably many shades of each scion color matching paint wouldn't be as easy as just buying a bottle. I know FM is tricky to match and I'm sure the other colors are as well. End of rambling. Just trying to make good discussion because I know nothing about paint.
