Default Scratched headlights

So I took my overlays off today and there was this sticky stuff on it....long story short my front headlights are scratched pretty badly now haha...
Please PLEASe someone have some kind of remedy for this...that preferably cost under 20 bucks

I was wondering if X-scratch might work by Meguirs or whatever?

Sorry to say it, but scratch-x will not fix that. If you scratched the plastic, then its permanent. Your options are pretty much to deal with it, or buy new headlamps.

How did you scratch them anyway? Were you using a razor blade to peel them off?

One of my friends gave me a weird but logical answer
He said use the stuff people use to unscratch their glasses...
Weird proposal but hey I am up for anything

depends on the size of the scratch and what you can get away with. if they are scratched all over, forget about it. but if its just a skiff then eyeglass scratch remover might work.

That's not made for clear plastic, but they have a new "PlastX" product that is. Seems worth a shot, look here for details.

Hmm I wonder who carries this ^

...It would be worth a shot
Its real light scratches...but a lot of them O_o just on the top part of the light though...the reflector part.
I just shot some shiny stuff for rims on it to cover it and it worked but of course it is not permanent.

Hmm that looks kinda iffy...
But I guess it would be worth a try
A lot better than buying new projectors
I researched them and everyone has said crap about them so far.

if they're not too deep plain ol' toothpaste and water/spit will work. The paste kind is the perfect mild abrasive. People have been using it for years on plastic headlights that have yellowed over time, makes em look like new. Just be sure not to use the whitening kind (too abrasive) or the gel (not abrassive enough)... its gotta be normal plain ol' paste then hit em with some wax.

...btw it'll also work on scratched cd and dvd's
