So I was checking on eBay to see what options were available for an emergency door release. I found this little gem for $99 with free shipping.

A little searching later and I find that this is nothing but a simple "garage door emergency release" which is sold on Amazon for about $15. It's a great idea for anyone with shaved doors. The user simply inserts the key, turns, and the inner cylinder comes out connected to the cable.

I just hope to save people some cash. I just kind of happened onto the info, but could have easily not found anything other than the overpriced eBay item.

 

havent seen too many people on here with shaved doors. good lookin out though.
