umm u think i should take the paint off my tails and redo it? like..cant i just sand it down and then wetsand again? no? using laquer thinner is the only way? :\

 

You can wet sand it down, but you'll be doing that for awhile. Thinner will take it right off, just make sure it's safe for use on plastics.

 

for your tails, wetsand them, rubbing compound, then polish compound, then wax it like a mother!!! and you'll be good...

FLEA, something's not right, your tails look better then your paint job on your car... lol... should wet sand and polish the car to get rid of that orange peel...

^That's not my car...it's Unit_Xero's. His car is pretty damn orange peeled to hell. I keep offering to fix it for him, however I am not going to do it for free and do all of the work on it by myself.

I just got my new rotary buffer 2 days ago and I finished color sanding my car lastnight and buffing it. Very satisfied with the results.

The camera is a Sony Cybershot DSC-H7. It's for sale if anyone wants it!

 

What buffer did you get... I got me a porter cable 7424, and it rocks!...

 

ATD, 7" Polisher/Buffer/Sander. Going to go get the smaller backing plate later on today.
