Default side window wind deflectors-- do they work?

I noticed the scion doesn't prevent much wind from coming into your face when driving with the windows down so im interested in knowing if anyone with the wind deflectors would recommend it, in this case im looking for function over form, these are what i am currently interested in:

i think they look a little corny though, even those wind deflector for the sun/moon roof, unless they are bulit in like ours and that's pretty cool.

get the Weathertechs

it's great when you can open your window a little bit and get not much noise, and also the fact when it's raining. so yeah.. it's functional.

So are the Weathertechs better than the Wade bc lots of SL members are complaining about the auto up window feature lowering the window bc of obstruction? I'm lookin at getting the Weathertechs.

definitely in-channel weathertechs.. I just bought them for my boyfriend's tC and they're perfect, he loves them!
