Kinda like window tint. You gotta use watter, a squeegee, a hair dryer, stretch it, razor to cut off excess, etc...
Some people have had seriously trouble with it and have had to redo them a few times.

I did the overlays on my accord back then. You can never pefect it because of the curves on the lights. No matter how much you work on it, there will alwayss be bubbles when you are up close to the light.
