1.) I don't like how VHT turns out, and yes I know how to paint
2.) It's very time consuming, and I'm impatient
3.) If a cop ever gave you trouble, it's easier to rip off a low-cost piece of vinyl in front of him and avoid a ticket instead of having to fight a ticket..

But to play devil's advocate here, VHT allows you to get the exact level of darkness you desire.

 

Oh I don't disagree with you one bit... But I just happened to achieve the level of darkness I wanted with vinyl.. so it worked out nicely... + I did a few other cars here in Houston and they turned out killer.. I'm working on some VHT headlights right now when I can actually get a pair... (after my retrofit project) .. but eh that's down the line

 

You plan on smoking the whole headlight or just certain parts?

 

what kind of vinyl did use, and how dark was it, those look amazing.

They look good and hpoefully they hold up, which is the problem with vinyls. Sick ride bro, keep it up..
