okay, i just ordered the smoke vinyl from headlight armor (a stupid impulse buy ) and afterwards realized that they're 22 mil thick (that's almost an inch). I only want to smoke the top half of the tyc's and if I used this overlay from headlight armor, it will be very obvious that there is an overlay on the light, because there will be this thick vinyl over the top half. do you think it will look awkward or am i just overreacting? i was thinking of putting the whole film over the light, and just cutting out the brake light and reverse light, leaving the outeredges on. what do you guys think? any suggestions. if this has already been covered, i'm sorry in advance. point me in the right direction.

 

22 mil is different than 22 mm. I think 22 mil is the type of vinyl that they use if i'm not mistaken.

22 mil is not the type but indeed the thickness..

but mil != mm......

1 mil = 1/1000 of an inch... or 0.0254 mm



wow... i can't imagine an inch of blocky ... uhm.. ...

 

i can't believe that you'd think the vinyl would be an inch thick.
Without out even using any of your wonderful brain power, it just shouldn't and couldn't make sense.
